MFTWSC315_2017jan12

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I’m using a couple of new products from the January release on this card: I’m Owl Yours, I’m Owl Yours Die-namics, and Hearts & Stripes Paper Pack, along with previously released Staggered Hearts Stencil, Blueprints 13 Die-namics, and the branch is from LJD Spooky Sweets Die-namics.

The owls and heart were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. I did a watercolor wash for the background on Ranger Watercolor Paper and Peerless Watercolors. For some added texture, I spread molding paste through the stencil on the card front and used foam mounting tape to provide dimension.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

  1. I love all of your owl cards.....owls are one of my favorites. I am in love with the way you made the "Have a Hoot of a Day" card and was wondering if you could tell me what stamp set has that fantastic branch/leaves that you used on that card. I've searched everywhere and cannot seem to find it. I would appreciate it if you could email me where I could get that branch and leaves for my cards. Thank you so much.
