Happy Halloween–MFT August Creative Construction With Blueprints: Framed

ccwithbp_2016aug29

Blueprints feature many innovative designs that make it so easy to add interest to your projects without a lot of unnecessary effort. Frames that feature multiple openings allow you to compartmentalize and feature numerous images and sentiments without the monotony involved in aligning a variety of dies. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Blueprints that include these fantastic elements: Blueprints 2 Die-namics, Blueprints 20 Die-namics, Blueprints 27 Die-namics, and Blueprints 29 Die-namics.

Blueprints with frames really do make creating a layout easy! I’ve done a few cards this way and I’m finding I love it so there will be more :) For this card, I’m using Blueprints 27 Die-namics along with Frightfully Fun Halloween and Frightfully Fun Halloween Die-namics. The images were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and arranged on foam mounting tape.

The sentiment in the bottom panel was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and embellished with some googly eyes for fun. The frame was popped up on foam for added dimension on a background of Fun & Frolic Paper Pack.

And that’s it for today! Get out your Blueprints with frames and have some fun! Thanks for stopping by—see you soon!

  1. Fantastic card Barbara! It's so much fun and with the most gorgeous zingy colours. Adding googly eyes in the bottom frame was a stroke of genius, just perfect for a Halloween card! Thanks for the inspiration! Esther
