Thank You–SSSC 300

SSSC300_2015dec20

Hi, everyone, I’m back today with a new—and the last—Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge card. It is with great sadness that I have to announce that the challenge will end after this one. Karen has wowed us week after week with her gorgeous sketches, but situations change, lives change, and she is needing to focus on other things, mostly her precious family. With that in mind, I thought a thank you card to Karen was most appropriate today. I hope we’ll see lots of you playing along with this farewell sketch and hope you’ll take the time to comment on the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge blog and leave her some love and appreciation.

SSSC300
I started with a Kraft card stock base, stamped it with Burlap Background and Versamark, then added a layer of Dots and Stripes Neutral Paper Pack. Next, I cut holes in a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock using Blueprints 21 Die-namics, “piped” it with Black Licorice card stock, and popped it up with foam mounting tape. The sentiment was made with Label Maker Sentiments, Label Tape Die-namics, and Black Licorice dye ink, then also popped up on foam.

My shaker element was created with Circle STAX Set 2 Die-namics, Stitched Mini Scallop Circle STAX Die-namics, Blueprints 18 Die-namics, heat resistant acetate, foam mounting tape, and Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I added Tropical Flowers cut from Sweet Tooth card stock with Tropical Flowers Die-namics and stamped with Pure Plum hybrid ink, Cranberry Cocktail hybrid ink, and Jellybean Green dye ink with a Black Licorice dye ink.

And that’s it for today and the
Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. The sketches will be archived on the blog so be sure to bookmark or pin it for future reference. Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
